Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the order preparation process by expertly picking, staging, and moving inventory. You will ensure all outgoing products are accounted for and correctly prepared for their next stage of transport.
- Safely and skillfully operate a large-capacity forklift to manage and transport large or heavy loads throughout the facility (if applicable). Adherence to all safety protocols is paramount for this function.
- Serve as the crucial link in our inbound and outbound logistics by efficiently loading and carefully unloading delivery and shipping trucks. This task requires precision to keep our material flow continuous and uninterrupted.
- Use attention to detail to accurately stack, build, and secure pallet loads and orders. Proper assembly is key to ensuring that shipments are delivered safely and on time.
- Act as a versatile team player, readily assisting with diverse warehouse functions, including inventory counting, organizing stock, and actively contributing to a consistently clean, secure, and organized indoor and outdoor working environment.
- Be prepared to perform frequent heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and engage in physical activities like bending, standing, and reaching throughout the shift to manage and position inventory.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in a comparable warehouse or logistics role is essential. You should be prepared to operate independently and hit the ground running.
- Experience with material handling and shipping & receiving.
- A deep commitment to workplace safety procedures and a reliable work ethic are critical to success in this fast-paced environment.
- A valid, recognized forklift operating license is considered a strong asset and will be highly valued for operating our heavy-duty equipment.
