Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Associate, you will manage daily order processing and physical inventory movement across the facility.
Scan, process, and track incoming and outgoing storage units using handheld electronic scanners and internal software.
Move, organize, and sort storage boxes, file bins, and backup tapes throughout designated warehouse zones.
Safely operate manual material handling equipment, such as hand carts, dollies, and pallet jacks over concrete floors.
Assemble, shrink-wrap, and secure shipping pallets at ground level or on work carts.
Load prepared pallets onto transport trucks and navigate ladders to access upper storage racks.
Qualifications
To excel as a Warehouse Associate in Ottawa, you must be comfortable with continuous physical motion including bending, stooping, and reaching.
Capability to lift and move materials weighing 10 to 50 lbs independently.
Team Lift Policy: Any heavy lifting over 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs) is strictly conducted as a two-person team effort.
Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods.
