Location: Burnaby
Position Type: Temporary to Permanent
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $24-$28/hour

Responsibilities
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, inventory turnover, and receiving cycle times to drive departmental excellence.
• Negotiate with freight carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize shipping costs and improve service reliability..
• Support daily distribution and processing of reports and other correspondence as directed by the General Manager.
• Maintain and update equipment and product tracking logs with high accuracy to ensure data integrity.
• Manage all electronic receipts of equipment and products upon arrival at the Burnaby facility.
• Oversee core warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, and comprehensive inventory control.
• Enter all receiving purchase order information and virtual shipments into the tracking system.
• Maintain accurate inventory documentation for all assigned materials and electronic components.
• Pull inventory for order preparation, pre-fabrication, and staging on project pallets.
• Coordinate and manage the ongoing maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure safety and uptime.
• Answer incoming calls and email queries, providing professional assistance to customers, clients, and vendors.
Qualifications
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
• Ability to show leadership skills and work independently.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a Warehouse or Inventory control environment.
• Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping, tracking, and receiving systems.
• Previous experience with international shipping procedures is highly preferred.
• Stand-up Forklift License is a must!
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract that meets safety standards.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and stage electronic equipment and project pallets.
• Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to hazard identification.
