Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you take pride in keeping a building moving, ensuring that every truck leaves on time and every order is picked with precision? We are currently seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operations Coordinator for a leading partner in the building supplies industry located in Vaughan, Ontario. This is a pivotal role for a professional who loves the intersection of floor operations and logistical planning.
In this role, you will be the heartbeat of the daily operations. Acting as the bridge between the warehouse floor, the delivery fleet, and the sales team, you will ensure the seamless flow of goods from inventory to the customer. As part of the Manufacturing & logistics sector, this position offers stability and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on business success. You won't just be sitting behind a desk; you will be actively managing the floor, coordinating drivers, and stepping in to support the team wherever gaps appear. If you are an early riser who loves a job where no two days are exactly the same, this is the career move you have been waiting for.
Bilingualism & Communication For this position in Vaughan, fluency in English is a strict requirement. The role demands clear and effective verbal and written communication to coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, sales teams, and customers on a daily basis.
As a Warehouse Operations Coordinator, you are responsible for the "how" and "when" of the facility. You will oversee the daily rhythm of the warehouse, starting bright and early to open the facility and set the tone for the day. You are the go-to person for resolving delivery exceptions, managing picker workflow, and ensuring safety and efficiency standards are met. This role is deeply rooted in Manufacturing & logistics, requiring a mindset that is both analytical and action-oriented. You will support the sales team during peak hours and assist walk-in customers, ensuring high service standards are maintained across the board.
Your ability to multitask will be key. From tracking fleet movements to conducting building walkthroughs, your supervision ensures that the operation runs like a well-oiled machine. You will work closely with operations leadership to implement best practices and maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment. Whether it is reassigning pickers as volume shifts or preparing documentation for invoicing, your contribution is vital to the company's operational excellence.
Advantages
Competitive Compensation: An attractive base salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 CAD, commensurate with your experience.
