đź’Ľ Position Overview
As the Warehouse Coordinator, you will lead end-to-end warehouse functions including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. You’ll ensure high standards in inventory accuracy, compliance, international freight handling, and national logistics distribution. Your leadership will empower a team, optimize workflows, and support the timely delivery of critical equipment and spare parts across Canada.

Responsibilities
🚀 Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment across all Canadian regions. Lead all handling, shipping, and receiving activities.
🚀 Inventory & ERP Systems Management: Maintain precise inventory records using advanced ERP/WMS platforms. Conduct cycle counts, resolve variances, and manage stock levels to minimize downtime.
🚀 International Shipping & Import Coordination: Handle all aspects of import logistics, including customs documentation, compliance with tariff codes, and collaboration with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
🚀 Domestic Freight & Carrier Management: Coordinate nationwide shipments with third-party carriers. Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery while managing shipping paperwork and route optimization.
🚀 Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, provide training and coaching, and foster a high-performance, safety-focused work culture.
🚀 Health, Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all warehouse operations comply with Canadian safety regulations (WHMIS, OHS, etc.). Lead safety initiatives and conduct regular audits and toolbox talks.
🚀 Lean Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies. Apply lean warehousing principles to reduce waste, boost efficiency, and improve accuracy.
🚀 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Sales, Service, Finance, Projects) to align warehouse planning with customer priorities and demand forecasting.
🚀 Data-Driven Reporting: Track and report KPIs including fulfillment accuracy, turnaround times, and freight costs. Maintain complete shipping and import/export documentation.
Qualifications
🎓 Education & Certifications
🎓 Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations Management.
🎓 Bonus: CPIM, CITT, WHMIS, or Health & Safety certifications.
Experience
🎓 5+ years in warehouse logistics, with 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
🎓 Strong hands-on experience with inventory management systems, ERP/WMS tools, and MS Office (especially Excel).
Core Competencies
🎓 Advanced skills in logistics coordination, warehouse optimization, and team development.
🎓 Deep understanding of Canadian import/export compliance, mechanical equipment, and safety standards.
🎓 Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills.
