Responsibilities
If you prefer sitting behind a desk in a dark office all day... this isn’t the role for you!
We follow an 80/20 rule: you’ll spend about 80% of your day out on the floor working alongside your crew, and 20% on administrative and operational planning.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will lead a crew of 7 (scaling up to approximately 10 team members). You will lead from the front, jump on equipment when the rush hits, maintain high shipping accuracy (>90%), and help your team build long-term careers.
• Run the Floor: Own daily warehouse workflows, task allocation, staging, receiving, and shipping like a well-oiled machine 🚚
• Coach & Mentor: Train, guide, and motivate a team of up to 10 warehouse associates, fostering a culture of teamwork, pride, and accountability 🏆
• Get Hands-On: Roll up your sleeves and hop in on the floor whenever operational bottlenecks arise 🚜
• Master the Tech: Manage inventory, daily cycles, and branch transfers using Solar Eclipse ERP to keep accuracy above 90% 🖥️
• Continuous Improvement: Use lean warehouse principles to optimize workflows, layout, and efficiency 📊
• Champion Safety: Partner with the employee-led Health & Safety team to ensure everyone gets home safe every single day 🦺

• Leadership Style: Lead-from-the-front approach—comfortable being active on the warehouse floor rather than managing from an office 🥾
• Systems Savvy: Working knowledge of inventory ERP systems (Solar Eclipse experience is a strong plus!) and Microsoft Office 💻
• Equipment Confidence: Valid forklift certification or hands-on operating experience (counterbalance/sit-down required; stand-up reach truck training provided internally) 🚜
