Position: Material Handler / Warehouse Associate
Location: Oshawa, ON
Pay Rate: $20.75 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Contract Duration: 3–4 Months Temporary Contract
Start Date: September 28th, 2026
**All candidates must be fully available for a 10-hour, bi-weekly rotating shift structure within one of the following cohorts**
Day Cohort 1A
- Week 1: Sunday through Wednesday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours)
- Week 2: Sunday through Tuesday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30 hours)
Day Cohort 1B
- Week 1: Thursday through Saturday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30 hours)
- Week 2: Wednesday through Saturday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours)
Night Cohort 2A
- Week 1: Sunday through Wednesday 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM (40 hours)
- Week 2: Sunday through Tuesday 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM (30 hours)
Night Cohort 2B
- Week 1: Thursday through Saturday 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM (30 hours)
- Week 2: Wednesday through Saturday 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM (40 hours)

Responsibilities
- Multi-Department Support: Assist dynamic operations across shipping, receiving, sorting, picking, and packing.
- Inventory Handling: Manually load, unload, and transfer incoming and outgoing inventory, cartons, and skids.
- Pallet Preparation: Build, stack, wrap, and label pallets with precision for distribution.
- Staging & Retrieval: Retrieve and organize materials efficiently based on digital work orders.
- Facility Safety: Maintain a spotless, secure, and hazard-free workspace adhering strictly to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Readiness: Ability to comfortably lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 50 lbs throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Required Footwear: CSA-approved safety footwear (Composite or Carbon toe is highly recommended for smooth passage through walk-through metal detectors).
- Schedule Commitment: Full availability for the 3- to 4-month contract duration and designated shift rotations.
- Background Verification: Must successfully clear a standard criminal background check prior to day one.
- Essential Attributes: Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, team spirit, and a safety-first mindset.
