Responsibilities
- Perform Flux Core and solid-wire MIG welding on carbon and stainless steel structures.
- Execute fitting and assembly sequences utilizing imperial blueprints and technical drawings.
- Operate oxy/acetylene torches and arc gouging equipment across multiple welding positions.
- Process heavy structural materials ranging from 1/4" to 1 1/4" in thickness.
Qualifications
- Proven background with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Welder-Fitter within the structural steel industry.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret imperial blue prints and structural layout schematics accurately.
- Prior experience working with CWB credentials or the ability to pass an on-site practical weld test.
- Competency handling heavy steel fabrication for large-scale industrial infrastructure like water towers.
