Responsibilities
- Arrive 30 minutes early (paid OT) to manage shift setup and assign team tasks in Brantford.
- Organize production schedules, resolve technical issues, and perform maintenance troubleshooting.
- Read blueprints and execute manual MIG and TIG welding on 1/4" to 1/2" steel and aluminum.
- Perform fitting, joint assembly, and grinding for data center storage racks, doors, and frames.
Qualifications
- Experience as a senior lead hand or Welder-Fitter Supervisor - Night Shift in the metal manufacturing industry.
- CWB certification or equivalent expertise in structural steel and aluminum fabrication.
- Proven ability to interpret complex blueprints and troubleshoot fabrication machinery.
- Practical mastery of MIG welding with TIG capabilities as a valuable asset.
