Responsibilities
- You will perform high-quality MIG welding and detailed fitting on various thin-gauge metal components such as shelving frames, park benches, outdoor garbage units, and various other assemblies.
- You are responsible for reading and accurately executing complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
- You will conduct thorough self-inspections and clean all finished welds to prepare them for the powder-coating line.
- You will manage short-run projects, assembling diverse products from start to finish in a job shop setting.
- You may utilize shop machinery like brake presses or shears to assist with the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate significant experience as a Welder Fitter (Minimum: 3 years of work experience in the trade)
- You possess a high level of expertise in MIG welding and complex fitting from scratch.
- You have the proven ability to interpret technical drawings and translate them into finished products.
- You take immense pride in your craftsmanship and have a sharp eye for detail and weld integrity.
- CWB MIG Tickets are an asset, especially 3G or 4G certifications.
