Responsibilities
* Fit and weld pre-cut/pre-drilled hanger components with high accuracy based on engineered drawings and schematics.
* Safely operate and maintain welding equipment and press brakes to support manufacturing schedules.
* Ensure all custom-built components meet strict customer specifications and geometric tolerances.
* Take ownership of your work area, including equipment maintenance, material organization, and general housekeeping.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and communicate effectively with the team to troubleshoot issues and optimize production.
Qualifications
* Current CWB (Canadian Welding Board) certification is required upon hire.
* 2+ years of experience operating a brake press and direct hands-on experience in a manufacturing/team-welding environment.
* Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, prints, and schematics.
* Strong proficiency in basic geometry and calculations (proportions, area, circumference, and volume).
* Expert use of hand-power tools and the ability to read a tape measure to 1/32-inch increments.
* Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
