Responsibilities
- Direct hourly fabrication personnel and monitor daily shift metrics as the primary Welding Supervisor.
- Optimize shop floor layouts, audit inventory levels, and streamline the movement of raw materials.
- Manage the recruitment, orientation, and skills development of all incoming manufacturing staff.
- Oversee workplace safety protocols, investigate plant incidents, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate clear communication across the floor to resolve conflicts and keep production teams motivated.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid, current CWB Certified Welding Supervisor credential.
- Bring 5+ years of supervisory experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or welding environment.
- Hold a college diploma or showcase equivalent practical leadership background is an asset.
- Demonstrate exceptional computer literacy and strong industrial mathematical capabilities.
- Proven ability to interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and structural schematics.
