We have an immediate opening for a reliable Yard Forklift Operator to join our growing building supply team. This is a secure, ongoing full-time position working outdoors in a busy yard environment.
Pay & Shift Structure
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $22.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate (ready to start right away)

Transportation: Must drive and have your own reliable personal vehicle for daily commuting.
Certification: Valid, current forklift certification (ticket).
Experience: Solid, hands-on forklift experience, including previous experience operating a forklift outdoors in a yard environment.
Adaptability: Completely comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather.
Your Daily Tasks
Yard Operations: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, load, and unload building materials across the yard.
Physical Labor: Stay active and handle heavy lifting or physical tasks off the forklift when required.
Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly with the yard crew to keep operations running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
Safety First: Maintain safe driving speeds, follow weight limits, and ensure materials are stacked securely.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a heavy-duty forklift in an outdoor yard environment to load, unload, and move various materials.
Accurately track and stage incoming and outgoing inventory.
Conduct routine pre-operational checks and minor maintenance on the forklift.
Assist with manual material handling and general yard organization as needed
Qualifications
Valid Forklift Certification is required.
Proven experience operating a forklift, preferably in an outdoor yard or heavy-duty setting.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.
Ability to handle physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
