Are you a motivated, reliable team player looking to excel in a fast-paced environment? Randstad is currently recruiting a Rough Terrain Operator for our client.
In this position, you will play a key role in day-to-day material handling and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works well independently or alongside a team to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operating rough terrain equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
Efficiently picking, packing, and staging orders.
Unloading incoming shipments and loading outgoing trucks.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or proven experience operating rough terrain forklifts/telehandlers.
Strong reliability and a dedicated work ethic.
Ability to handle physical job demands in dynamic conditions.
Advantages
This position offers a competitive hourly rate, bi-weekly pay, overtime pay at 1.5x the regular wage after 40 hours per week, standard vacation pay, and flexible time off with sufficient notice.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: packing orders, aiding in loading/unloading trucks, creating hardware kits, maintaining clean dunnage piles, ensuring yard and shop material storage cleanliness, and creating guide posts. Heavy lifting is required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess experience with power tools and hand tools. Forklift, rough terrain forklift, telehandler, loader, and flat deck/trailer experience are assets but not required. Steel-toed boots and gloves must be worn at all times in the shop/yard. Proper safety gear must be worn when using power tools.
