Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00/H based on experience
Transit accessible however 20-minute walk from Scott Road Station -vehicle preffered
Forklift certification - Sit Down Counterbalance

You are comfortable working in a physically demanding and outdoor environment
Equipment On-Site: Shredder, forklifts, skid steers, loaders, scrap handlers, mobile and stationary shears, car crusher, rock trucks, vacuum truck

Responsibilities
Sorting and lifting various types of metals, including non-ferrous metals, for the majority of the shift
Tidying, cleaning, and maintaining an organized and safe working environment in both the warehouse and yard

Performing other duties as assigned
Working independently as well as part of a team of approximately 7–10 employees
Work will be performed both outdoors and indoors, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions
Equipment on site includes shredders, forklifts, skid steers, loaders, scrap handlers, mobile and stationary shears, car crushers, rock trucks, vacuum trucks, and non-ferrous balers
Lifting requirements: up to 40 lbs with occasional lifting
This role is suited for hands-on, mechanically inclined individuals comfortable with physical work in an industrial environment
Qualifications
A minimum of one year of experience or exposure to the automotive industry is considered an asset
Forklift certification - Sit Down Counterbalance
At least one year of experience working in a warehouse or yard environment is an asset
Demonstrates the ability to learn quickly; adaptable, reliable, and safety-conscious
Maintains a positive attitude and is able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Strong organizational, time management, and task-prioritization skills
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
You can lift up to 40 lbs occasionally, and work in various physical positions (e.g., bending, lifting, standing).
The facility is located in Surrey, BC, approximately a 20-minute walk from Scott Road Station; access to a personal vehicle is considered an asset
