Responsibilities
-Accurately process and verify vendor invoices ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies
-Prepare and execute payments via electronic transfers, cheques, and other methods as required
-Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
-Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and files
-Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues
-Assist with month-end closing activities including accruals and reporting
Qualifications
-1–3 years experience in accounts payable or related field
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel
-Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Effective communication skills both written and verbal
