Finance Administrator – Accounts Payable

Responsibilities
- Keeping the payables running smoothly by reviewing, coding, and entering invoices
- Double-checking batches for accuracy and making sure everything is in line with GST/HST rules for charities
- Preparing cheque runs, EFTs, and wire payments (and voiding them if needed)
- Lending a hand with expense processing when teammates are away
- Handling month-end journal entries and reconciliations
- Supporting year-end activities and prepping documentation for auditors
- Spotting ways to make processes faster and more efficient
- Building great working relationships across the finance team
- Pitching in wherever needed to keep things running seamlessly
Qualifications
- Solid technical accounting skills and experience applying policies and regulations
- Advanced Excel know-how (formulas, schedules, reconciliations)
- A sharp eye for detail—nothing slips past you
- Problem-solving chops and a proactive mindset
- Clear, professional communication skills
- A knack for juggling deadlines and staying organized
- The ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure
- Knowledge of mental health or related fields is a bonus
