In this pivotal role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the daily success of the organization. Advantages
-Full time one-year contract (for an expansion project), with the possibility of a permanent position following
-Hybrid working model, 3 days in office and 2 days remote (first 3 months is 100% in person)
-3 weeks vacation, 2 extra paid balance days, 8 sick days, 4 additional paid days off offered (between Christmas and New Year's Day)
-Working with a collaborative and supportive team
Responsibilities
-Perform various administrative tasks (mail, reception, phone calls, photocopying, scanning)
-Organize meeting materials and prepare files
-Purchase supplies and work in tandem with the relevant office employee
-Draft letters, take notes, and data entry
-Maintain, archive, and ensure the confidentiality of senior management documents
-Participate in any other related tasks required by the administrative assistant or management
Qualifications
-DEC or DEP in secretarial studies, management, or equivalent
-Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position
-Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
-Excellent communication skills and proactive approach
-Comfortable with Mac and PC environments and common office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote)
-Professionalism and positive attitude
-Strong organizational skills, effective priority management, and high degree of autonomy
-Rigorous, reliable, and strictly confidential
-Ability to work in a multitasking environment and manage several files simultaneously
-Knowledge of the cultural or museum environment is an asset
Our Client operates across Canada, and globally/internationally in the United States and other countries. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
-communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a regular basis
-work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English
