Responsibilities
• Enter orders received by phone, fax, email, or other means into the computer system and ensure that the customer's order is feasible;
• Ensure that orders are entered according to customer instructions while following data entry procedures, departmental operating procedures, and respecting turnaround times;
• Evaluate each order to provide the best available product to meet customer needs;
• Validate the transfer of orders to the various production sites;
• Communicate with the customer to inform them of any changes to their order or additional delays, to obtain missing information, or for frames that are being tracked;
• Inform the Customer Experience team as soon as a product becomes available and suggest a substitute or equivalent product in case of stock shortages;
• Provide technical information on products and answer questions regarding the use of the electronic ordering system;
• Receive and process customer credit applications according to established procedures;
• Work as part of a team with technical support and the customer service call center
Qualifications
Must be fluent in communicate with French/ English speaking clients located outside Quebec on a regular basis
Previous shipping, receiving, or customer service experience preferred
Strong data entry and computer skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional telephone manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
