We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Continuity
Analyst to support the ongoing maintenance, consolidation, and
enhancement of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) across the

Advantages

•Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), or equivalent certification.
•Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure).
•Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and integration of BCP with enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks.
•Ability to analyze and interpret business impact analysis (BIA) data to inform recovery strategies.
•Strong facilitation skills with experience leading multi-stakeholder workshops or simulations.
•Understanding of IT disaster recovery (ITDR) concepts and how they align with business continuity planning.
•Experience supporting audit and regulatory reviews related to continuity and resilience.
•Bilingual (English/French) - especially strong English for interaction with global sites and teams
Responsibilities
• Update BIAs and BCPs
• Comprehensively summarize and analyze BIAs across the
organization, specifically, analysis of concentration in
recovery timeframes or analysis of interdependencies and
alignment of MTOs to verify that processes that need each
other have consistent MTOs
• Aggregated and consolidate recovery targets for critical
resources for each department/asset owner to facilitate a gap
assessment and develop a resilience strategy for those critical
resources.
• Capture minimum level of operation (minimum business
continuity objective - MBCO) to determine which portion of the
process is sufficient to avoid unacceptable impacts.
• Ensure clear resilience strategy to close gaps in resilience
capabilities is defined in BIA/BCP.
• Coordinate the consolidation of BIA data, including interdepartmental critical processes dependencies
• Validate RTO and RPO with IT supported systems
• Detail out the manual workarounds and recovery strategies
• Ensure BIAs and BCPs are aligned with ISO 220301 standards
and any regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with business units to gather, validate, and
document all BIA and BCP information
• Conduct tabletop exercises (TTX)
• Plan, design, and facilitate tabletop exercises to test the
effectiveness of BCPs and crisis response capabilities.
• Document lessons learned and follow up on action items from
exercises and real incidents.
• Support internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance
reviews related to business continuity.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of business continuity
metrics and reporting.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Continuity, Risk Management, Emergency Management, or a related field, 3+ years of experience in business continuity planning, risk management, or a related discipline.
•Strong knowledge of business continuity frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, BCI Good Practice Guidelines).
•Experience facilitating tabletop exercises and business impact analyses (BIAs).
