Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this C++ Developper at this pharmaceutical industry leader in Downtown Montreal;
Developing scalable and performant software using software engineering best practices
Analyzing and discussing requirements from stakeholders
Facilitating discussions on code implementation, unit testing, software architecture best practices
Recording and documentation of your work
Driving projects and leading new initiatives
Developping Web framework like (React, Vue, REST)
Actively engaging with others on the development team to resolve challenging design and coding issues
Evaluating appropriate new technologies, tools, frameworks and software components for integration
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this C++ Developper at this pharmaceutical industry leader in Downtown Montreal;
A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or an equivalent level of working and thinking.
Approximately 4 to 8 years of professional experience in a relevant position
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
You’re skilled at recording and documenting your work in English; this is a key proficiency in the medical software industry.
You have an intrinsic curiosity about technological innovations, and you are always on top of the latest trends
You have (extensive) experience with some of the following and are eager to learn about the remainder:
C++ (standard 17 or later), Python, Git, Unit testing, Issue resolution
Excellent communication skills; written and spoken.
Office 3 days a week
Nice to have
Working knowledge of linear algebra, statistics, and geometry
Web assets: Web framework like React, Vue, REST
Other assets: Behavior-Driven Development, Qt
Experience with Scrum and/or Kanban
Experience with DevOps activities, builds and releases (packaging, Docker etc)
Deployed applications in production
Experience in SaMD or medical device development, including knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 62304, IEC 82304, ISO 14971, etc.
