Our client, located in Oakville Ontario is looking for their next calibration technician. This is a 12 month contract with an opportunity to go permanent. If you have a mechanical aptitude, calibration knowledge and experience working with a CMS software, this role is for you!

Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual, who works quickly and methodically to ensure equipment is safe for operation and calibrated to industry standards.

Responsibilities
-Execute accurate, correct, and repeatable calibrations of equipment
-Approve items that meet tolerances and product specifications
-Assist with scheduling and assigning calibrations
-Inspect equipment using electronic and pressure equipment
-Document all of the above within company and ISO standards
Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
-Experience using a CRM system- Salesforce an asset
- Experience using hand tools
-Experience with 3-D Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Physically able to stand for durations at a time and lift 50 pounds
-Valid passport and able to travel and work in the US 1-2 times within the year
