Responsibilities
- Operate punch machine
- Backup for brake press operators
- Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches
- Perform setups – tool changes, etc.
- Maintain tooling inventory
- Produce parts for assembly operations
- Performs spot inspections of parts
- Perform all required routine maintenance activities
- Configure bend allowances for sheet metal
- Meet quality and customer specifications and delivery requirements
- Follows all processes and procedures in place and identifies areas for continuous improvement
- Compliance and understanding of all Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned to support the team
Qualifications
-2-5 years experience with CNC machines required, preferably punch operations.
-experience in manufacturing
-reliable and dependable
-effective multi tasking capabilities
-excellent verbal and written communications skills
-ability to be thorough and maintain a high level of accuracy
