In this strategic role, you will serve as a subject matter expert to guide, structure, and advance enterprise data and information models. Working in close collaboration with internal architecture teams, you will play a key role in governing data practices, optimizing information flows in a service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, and incorporating emerging technologies.

Responsibilities
Provide expert advisory services regarding enterprise information management, governance, and strategy.
Define and enhance data service offerings utilizing service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles and modern tech innovations.
Design and evolve global data and enterprise information models, ensuring seamless alignment with overall enterprise architecture.
Establish architectural guidelines covering the data lifecycle, including access protocols, duplication, integrity, security, confidentiality, and retention/destruction.
Facilitate and participate in collaborative workshops with business, processing, and application architects to identify and refine data requirements.
Integrate and position new data concepts within the organization's overarching information architecture.
Prepare decision memos, architecture option papers, and strategic recommendations for executive approval.
Qualifications
Proven track record in data architecture and enterprise information architecture within large-scale environments.
Deep expertise in data governance, data modeling, and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
Comprehensive understanding of data privacy, integrity, security, and access control standards.
Strong technical writing skills and proven ability to lead architecture workshops and communicate complex ideas clearly.
Excellent collaborative and advisory skills, with a track record of supporting cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
