Work Schedule: 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday with slight flexibility - 1 hour before or after core hours (9-4)

Responsibilities
• Vendor Governance – Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual commitments are in place and aligned to companys standards and policies for all HR Service Delivery support contracts. This includes completing validation and identifying opportunities to deliver sustainable cost savings, conducting quarterly and annual validation on existing contracts.
• Balancing Priorities – Provide leadership and advice in working with a broad variety of business partners and vendors to provide advice and execution on work that is often time sensitive and of a material expenditure. Your ability to manage conflicting priorities is paramount as the engagements range from high value contracts that span multiple years, strategic priorities that require immediate action and attention, and cases where there is a selection process required to ensure we are bringing forward the most appropriate partner for the work required.
• Strategic Thinking Approach – Take a holistic view to all tasks. You manage and execute the evolution of the vendor governance practice as a common shared service across the HR Service Delivery team. This will include leveraging new tools and providing insights on possible new approaches & strategies that may be contemplated in working with vendors.
Qualifications
Must haves:
1. 2–3 years of prior experience in a corporate environment *will accept far more qualified candidates as well
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
3. BA education required
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of Vendor Management practice, contract negotiation and governance would be an asset.
• Previous banking experience
• Previous legal or contract experience
