Responsibilities
Governance Leadership: Organize, facilitate, and drive weekly enterprise-wide Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Technical Advisory Board (TAB) sessions.
Risk Evaluation & Decision Authority: Conduct rigorous assessments of high-risk technology proposals, evaluating potential impacts to confidently grant approvals or issue rejections.
Conflict Resolution & Pushback Management: Navigate challenging conversations with confidence, resolve technical impasses, enforce governance boundaries, and maintain composure when issuing necessary denials.
ITSM Tooling & Configuration: Manage and refine change operational settings within ServiceNow, including approval rules, maintenance windows, and governance workflows.
Stakeholder Management: Establish strong partnerships across technical domain leads, sector coordinators, and business representatives to ensure seamless process alignment.
Continuous Process Elevation: Develop key performance metrics, executive dashboards, and operational benchmarks to elevate the organization's ITIL maturity.
Qualifications
Proven background in enterprise IT change management, committee facilitation, and cross-functional process oversight.
Assertive leadership persona with the ability to challenge technical teams, enforce policy adherence, and make firm decisions (ability to say "no").
In-depth mastery of ITIL best practices (ITIL v4 certification is considered a strong asset).
Advanced practical understanding of ServiceNow (CMDB structure, workflow design, risk scoring) and overall IT infrastructure dependencies.
Exceptional political acuity, emotional intelligence, analytical thinking, and conflict management skills.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
