Working within an agile IT solutions delivery team, you will play a central role in designing, building, and maintaining modern data solutions. You will help build an ecosystem that enables business units and advisor networks to seamlessly consume data, automate workflows, and pave the way for artificial intelligence integration.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize robust, secure, and high-performance data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
Contribute to the implementation of modern data storage and analysis structures (data lakes, data marts, data warehouses).
Apply software engineering best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps methodologies.
Partner closely with Product Owners, managers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Facilitate self-service data consumption using tools across the Microsoft ecosystem (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
Produce comprehensive technical documentation to ensure system sustainability and knowledge sharing.
Provide technical mentorship and drive adoption of best practices across cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of dedicated experience in data engineering and ETL development.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Mandatory Requirement - Microsoft Fabric: Official Microsoft Fabric Certification coupled with hands-on platform experience (OneLake, OneLake Security, Notebooks, Shortcuts, Mirroring).
Programming & Cloud Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
DevOps Skills: Proven track record applying CI/CD practices directly to Microsoft Fabric environments.
Data Modeling: Solid understanding of data architecture patterns (Data Vault, Star Schema, Snowflake).
Ecosystem Familiarity: Working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
Soft Skills: Strong natural leadership, excellent communication, proactive problem-solving, and experience in Agile/Scrum settings.
Asset: Prior experience in financial services or insurance.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
