Responsibilities
- Schedule delivery requests in accordance with company policies and specific customer needs to optimize efficiency
- Check shipping notes to detect and correct errors (street names, duplicate orders, SKU, etc.)
- Optimize routes to maximize vehicle capacity and reduce travel time and distance
- Assign vehicles and routes to drivers
- Perform daily checks to ensure that all orders for the next day are scheduled and ready
- Communicate staffing and equipment needs to the manager and support daily operations (calls, emails)
- Collaborate with the dispatch office to respond to requests, keep track of drivers and resolve issues in real time
Qualifications
- 2 years' experience similar experience, preferably with construction materials
- Must have the ability to effectively manage time and complete required tasks
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Willingness to learn
- Reliable
