Job Opportunity: Night Shift Electromechanic (Plastic Industry)
Our manufacturing company, specializing in the plastic industry, is seeking an experienced electromechanic to fill a permanent night shift position. We are looking for a highly autonomous individual, capable of working the night shift. Experience in maintaining plastic machinery is considered a major asset.
Job Conditions:
-Salary: $32 to $34 per hour
-Schedule: 3-2-2-3 night shift on weekdays
-Location: Saint-Laurent borough, Montreal
-Availability: Immediate

Responsibilities
Here is a description of the tasks that the night-shift electromechanic will perform in the position at the plastics sector plant in Ville Saint-Laurent:
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
-Ensure production equipment runs smoothly through preventive and corrective maintenance.
-Diagnose and resolve issues on pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Production Support: Respond quickly to assist with line changes, troubleshooting, and reducing downtime.
Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in developing and implementing preventive action plans and improving procedures.
Various Technical Tasks: Perform welding, assist subcontractors, document interventions, and take part in various technical projects.
Autonomy & Collaboration: Complete work plans, report unresolved issues to your supervisor, and maintain a clean workspace.
Qualifications
To be considered for the night-shift electromechanic position at our plastics manufacturing plant in Ville Saint-Laurent, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education & Experience: You must have a DEP in Automated Systems Electromechanics and 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a plastic/manufacturing environment.
Autonomy & Resourcefulness: The night-shift position requires someone who can take initiative and solve problems independently.
Thoroughness & Professionalism: You are known for being diligent, well-organized, and for your commitment to doing quality work.
Efficiency & Motivation: You complete your tasks quickly and are consistently motivated to achieve your goals.
Tools & Equipment: It's important to own and wear your steel-toed work boots at all times and to have your toolbox (basic tools).
