Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is seeking a Finance Analyst IV to join their team for a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion. You will play a critical role in bringing transparency to information flows, building processes around accruals and allocations, and enhancing the accuracy and consistency of compensation-related financial reporting. The position offers high exposure to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders within Finance and HR.

Responsibilities
-Investigate and lead end-to-end process mapping for variable compensation reporting.
-Collaborate with Finance and HR to gather and analyze relevant data.
-Synthesize complex information into clear and actionable financial commentary.
-Stand up and refine new processes to improve accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
-Support remediation of account attestation processes.
-Meet year-end deliverables and targets related to compensation transparency and reconciliation.
Qualifications
-Minimum 8 years of financial and/or accounting experience.
-Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA).
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
-Strong understanding of financial and management reporting processes within a banking environment.
-Experience using Hyperion Financial Management and running Hyperion queries.
-Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Proven critical thinking, time management, and attention to detail.
-Strong relationship-building skills and ability to function independently.
