Responsibilities
- Produce and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the complete accounting cycle and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Optimize closing processes to reduce timelines and improve efficiency.
- Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
- Develop financial models and tracking tools for business projects.
- Act as a business partner to various operational teams.
- Participate in the implementation or optimization of financial tools and systems (ERP, BI).
- Contribute to the automation and standardization of accounting and analytical processes.
- Supervise, train, and support a small accounting team.
- Act as a reference point for financial and operational issues.
Qualifications
- Professional CPA title (or in the process of being obtained), an important asset.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, including a portion of FP&A.
- Strong skills in accounting, financial analysis, and process improvement.
- Team management or mentoring experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of an ERP and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Rigor, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
