d States. They are looking for an energetic sales professional to help expand over-the-road (OTR) freight services. This role is highly flexible, allowing you to work remotely from anywhere in Canada as long as production goals are met. You will be tasked with opening new doors while a dedicated internal operations team handles day-to-day fulfillment, allowing you to focus entirely on closing deals and building relationships.
Advantages
Competitive Base Salary: $80,000 to $95,000 base salary (paid weekly) depending on experience.
High Earning Potential: Highly lucrative monthly commission structure based on profit thresholds. Top-performing reps can expect to achieve take-home earnings of approximately $200,000 by their 2nd year.
Ultimate Flexibility: 100% remote work is supported. You can work from anywhere in Canada (e.g., British Columbia, Ontario, etc.) with a management style that focuses on numbers and results rather than physical office presence.
No Geographic Silos: Sales representatives are not restricted to rigid geographic territories; you have the freedom to hunt and close accounts nationwide.
Dedicated Operational Support: Once you secure an account, an internal operations team handles tedious day-to-day fulfillment tasks (such as sourcing trucks and tracking), leaving you free to focus on selling.
Responsibilities
Actively prospect, generate leads, and open doors to secure new over-the-road (OTR) freight and cross-border business.
Build, manage, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Manage a robust sales pipeline and generate consistent monthly revenue, aiming for profitability within your first few months.
Collaborate internally with the existing sales team and leadership to manage accounts and prevent client crossover.
Conduct optional client site visits to manufacturing facilities to better understand customer operations and tailor logistics solutions to their needs.
Focus heavily on general and specialized freight (flatbeds, step decks), while actively avoiding ocean freight.
Qualifications
Experience: 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or asset-based logistics (this is the ideal sweet spot).
Industry Knowledge: Strong background in over-the-road (OTR) freight and cross-border logistics (ocean freight experience is not required or desired).
Sales Attributes: Must be an exceptional "door opener" and closer who is adaptable, hungry, and driven, without carrying the bad habits or overconfident attitudes sometimes seen in overly seasoned candidates.
Independent Work Ethic: Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage your own time, and consistently hit production targets.
