Title: Traffic and Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of manufacturers' commercial invoices (price, balance, deposit, payment method, if credit).
- Correspond by email with the supplier to obtain transport documents for each shipment in transit.
- Rigorously track and follow up on ongoing files (shipment tracking).
- Consolidate bookings/reservations arriving in the same container to minimize transport costs.
- Schedule merchandise reception appointments with the distribution center.
- Receive bookings from the freight forwarder via their online platform and proceed with verifying shipment details before sending them to the production teams.
- Once bookings are approved on the platform, update the SQL database and create an appointment in the File Maker tool.
- Ensure consolidation of LCL vs. FCL shipments to maximize space and minimize costs.
- Update established dates of departure (ETD), arrival (ETA), and estimated time at warehouse (ETW) as needed.
- Verify freight forwarder invoices.
Qualifications
- Hold a college diploma in logistics OR in a related field OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in international logistics
- Proficiency in MS-Office 365 Suite
- Ability to work under pressure (2 peak periods per year)
- Adapts easily to change
- Efficiency-oriented, rigorous
- Autonomy, resourcefulness
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain good relations with collaborators and departments.
