Responsabilités
• Responsible for creating the manufacturing file.
• Define the optimal assembly sequence that complies with health, safety, and technical regulations and constraints.
• Create work flow diagrams in accordance with the assembly sequence.
• Create appropriate visual work instructions based on the production environment. The format can be 3D (Industry 4.0) or 2D depending on the assembly type.
• Support the production release of new work schedules.
• Maintain the manufacturing file (work schedule, work instructions) up to date.
• Standards for creating work schedules and work instructions. • Promote a culture of continuous improvement based on problem-solving solutions as well as Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, Design Thinking, and Agile concepts.
• Define, monitor, and track projects, milestones, and checkpoints.
• Implement manufacturing improvement projects. • Be proactive and contribute to the Industry 4.0 shift in our manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with various teams: Engineering, Production, Project Managers, and IT.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial methods.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding assembly drawings.
• Proficiency in 3D model manipulation.
• Proficiency in executing industrial projects.
• Knowledge of PLM, MPMlink, and Créoview (an asset).
• Knowledge of the manufacturing environment and its challenges.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral). Leadership, teamwork, and change management skills.
• Comfortable in a distributed work environment, mobile location, and occasional office work, if required for the position.
• Bilingualism (French and English) required.
