Responsibilities
Requirement Engineering: Collaborate with Data Scientists, Architects, and business stakeholders to define, refine, and document functional and non-functional requirements for AI solutions.
Agile Facilitation: Partner with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to draft detailed user stories, conduct backlog grooming, prioritize feature delivery, and size development efforts in Jira.
Solution Workshops: Lead cross-functional alignment sessions to map technical capabilities to business priorities and establish robust solution architectures.
Delivery & Integration Support: Work closely with software developers and DevOps teams through the build, test, and release phases; conduct impact assessments and provide status updates to executive leadership.
Documentation & Communication: Produce clear business cases, architectural context docs, and process models while translating complex algorithms into actionable insights for non-technical partners.
Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), combined with 6+ years of IT Business Analysis experience.
Agile Proficiency: 3+ years actively working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
AI/ML Exposure: Direct experience working on Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence projects.
Technical Familiarity: Hands-on exposure to Python, Apache Spark, and cloud environments (specifically AWS and Amazon SageMaker).
Mindset & Soft Skills: Proactive communicator, comfortable navigating ambiguity, fast learner, and passionate about turning concepts into production-grade solutions.
Certifications (Asset): CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA certifications are considered strong assets.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
