Are you a skilled Machine Operator looking for your next opportunity? We're hiring in Mississauga for a long-term role with a leading manufacturer.
We’re looking for candidates with:
✔️ Junior experience as a Machine Operator or Machine Support (6 months + )

✔️ Hands-on knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment
✔️ Strong focus on safety, quality, and GMP compliance
💵 Pay Rate: $19/hour
🌙 Shift: 12-hour nights (6 PM – 6 AM)
📅 Rotating biweekly schedule:
Week 1: Mon, Thurs, Fri
Week 2: Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun

Responsibilities
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, including:
Start up, monitor, and safely shut down production lines following all safety protocols
Change materials and update product information based on shop order requirements
Operate the IPC interface and on-line labeling systems
Troubleshoot equipment issues and clear jams to maintain continuous operation
Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and report any mechanical issues
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards; report concerns to appropriate personnel
Support general production needs and perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
-Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Willing to learn and develop Manufacturing Best Practices
- Able to work flexible hours (overtime and periodic weekends required)
- Ability to handle conflicts and provide resolutions
- Understands right first time quality
- Shows initiative, takes directions and executes plans efficiently
- Must possess technical aptitude. Technical background an asset.
- Demonstrate safe work habits and excellent work ethics
- Work well independently and as a team member
- Knowledge of SOPs – cleaning, start up, safety, operation, CQP
-Must be fully vaccinated with 1st & 2nd shot
