Job Title: Logistics Account Executive
Location: Remote
As a Logistics Account Executive, you will be the driving force behind our company’s growth. Responsibilities
Business Development: Actively prospect for new customers through cold calling, networking, and lead generation to build a robust sales pipeline.
Account Management: Manage and grow a book of business by building deep, long-term relationships with shipping managers and executives.
Negotiation: Negotiate market-competitive rates with both customers (shippers) and carriers to maximize margins.
Operations Oversight: Collaborate with the operations/tracking team to ensure high-quality service and real-time updates for your clients.
Problem Solving: Proactively resolve logistical challenges—such as weather delays or equipment failures—to maintain customer trust.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of Sales within the Transportation Industry, Freight Forwarding or 3PL with a proven book of business
- Be self-managed and able to perform job requirements with a minimal amount of supervision
