Title: Contract - Logistics Coordinator

Advantages
Weekly pay
Pay ranges from 31$/hr to 36$/hr based on experience
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, 37.5 hour work week
Contract for a personal leave, 2 months, with hopes of receiving permanent
If receive permanent, company offers collective insurance immediately
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for outgoing shipments, including packing lists, commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs documents
- Coordinate pickups with customers and carriers
- Track outbound shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, or exceptions
- Manage relationships with brokers, carriers, delivery companies, and other logistics vendors
- Ensure customs compliance with CUSMA requirements, including vendor CUSMA certificates of origin, certificates sent to customers or brokers, and auditing of incoming customs documentation and border transactions
- Select appropriate shipping methods and service levels based on customer requirements, cost, and lead time (courier, LTL, FTL, air freight, etc.)
- Participate in annual physical inventory activities, as well as regular cycle counts and reconciliations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in industrial machinery or a related industry
- DEP, AEC, or college coursework in Warehouse and Distribution, Logistics, or Supply Chain is considered an asset
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, ERP systems (Odoo preferred), and customer or vendor portals
- Highly organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented
- Extensive experience with international shipping processes and documentation
Strong oral and written communication skills in English with a functional French
Role may involve physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, or kneeling for certain periods
Some tasks may include loading or assisting in loading crates using appropriate equipment. Receiving activities may involve handling items up to 40 lbs (18.8 kg)
