Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance based on work orders to ensure the proper functioning of thermoforming and extrusion machines.
- Diagnose and quickly resolve breakdowns (corrective maintenance) to minimize production downtime.
- Carry out the assembly, disassembly, and adjustments of equipment.
- Work in close collaboration with production operators to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure the good condition of molds and cutting and stacking systems.
- Contribute to improving efficiency and reducing material waste.
Qualifications
- Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in mechanics.
- Possess at least two years of relevant experience as an industrial mechanic.
- Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy to work alone during the night shift.
- Show skills in welding and, ideally, in electricity.
- Be comfortable with working at heights and in a hot environment.
- Have a valid work permit and reside on Canadian soil.
