As an Operations Officer, you will provide a broad range of operational support, performing specialized transactions and processing activities. Your primary focus will be ensuring that high volumes of claims and vendor onboarding tasks are handled with precision and speed.
Location: Markham, Ontario (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Potential for Extension/Conversion)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.23

Responsibilities
Operational Support: Manage salvage recovery processes and assist with various claims-related projects.
Data Management: Perform high-volume data entry and navigate Ministry portals with accuracy.
Financial Integrity: Conduct reconciliations and ensure all activities align with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Compliance: Adhere to internal regulations, industry trends, and the Bank Code of Conduct to ensure data privacy and security.
Process Improvement: Actively review internal workflows and suggest ideas to elevate service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in office administration, data entry, or a trade-processing related role.
Education: High School diploma required; Post-secondary education preferred.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel and Outlook) and the ability to learn new software quickly.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal team collaboration.
The "X" Factor: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with reconciliation or data analytics.
Knowledge of Money Market (MM) or Foreign Exchange (FX) products.
