We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Officer II to join a specialized team in Markham. This role is essential for ensuring that insurance documentation and mail processing flow seamlessly through our internal systems. Duration: 6 months (initial contract).
Work Model: 100% Onsite (5 days a week) in Markham.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Performance Metrics: Evaluated on quality of work, meeting deliverables, and the ability to integrate effectively with the team.

Responsibilities
High-Volume Mail Operations: Efficiently sort, count, and scan incoming mail; upload documents to internal systems and manage return-mail processes.
Administrative Accuracy: Provide top-tier administrative support by ensuring all insurance policies are processed accurately and reflect the customer’s intentions.
Transaction Management: Handle premium billing issues, post cheque payments, file documentation, and process daily reversals/rejects from PAC and Visa transactions.
Inquiry Resolution: Solve customer issues received via fax or mail and assist with claims-related inquiries and cancellation requests.
Due Diligence: Perform investigative problem-solving to analyze situations and make recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications
Experience: 2–4 years of overall professional experience in an operations or administrative role.
High-Volume Proficiency: Proven ability to handle large workloads while adhering to established deadlines.
Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using computers and proficient in MS Office (specifically Outlook).
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is non-negotiable for this role.
Education: Completed Post-Secondary education.
Soft Skills & Profile:
Quick Learner: Ability to be taught new systems easily and follow complex instructions.
Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal collaboration.
Agility: Ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and procedural changes.
Team Synergy: A true team player who listens well and contributes to a positive, equitable work environment.
Prior experience within the Insurance industry.
Familiarity with specialized Insurance systems (CSC, Policy Admin).
