Position: Part-Time Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities
-Process and reconcile bi-weekly payroll, including wages, commissions, bonuses, and deductions, using Ceridian and Excel.
-Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with ESA, CRA, WSIB, and Ministry of Finance requirements.
-Prepare and submit year-end documents (T4s, ROEs, T2200s) and handle benefit payments.
-Review and distribute commission/bonus reports; respond to payroll and benefit inquiries professionally.
-Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure correct onboarding, benefit administration, and financial reporting.
-Perform regular audits and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all payroll data.
Qualifications
-Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
-2–3 years of payroll processing experience
-Proficient in Ceridian and Microsoft Excel.
-Payroll certification (e.g., PCP – Payroll Compliance Practitioner) is considered an asset.
-Solid knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, including the Ontario Employment Standards Act.
