Responsibilities
- Forecasting, planning, and assessing needs for goods and services to project stock levels, manage budgets and prepare reports.
- Liaising with suppliers and following up on delivery times.
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and access to best costs. Researching new suppliers.
- Managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including tender review.
- Monitoring market trends.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in procurement with increasing responsibility, demonstrating skills in planning, organizing, financial management, budgeting, and decision-making.
- University degree in logistics, business administration, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong market awareness.
- Applicable Procurement-related certifications (preferred).
- Finance and budgeting experience (preferred).
- Experience in a financial institution (preferred).
