Responsibilities
Drive the functional deployment and configuration of enterprise cloud finance modules, ensuring alignment with existing IT architecture.
Spearhead financial system integrations and precise data migration streams for ongoing corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Manage day-to-day ecosystem performance, resolving technical escalations using modern service management tooling (e.g., ServiceNow).
Evaluate financial workflows to continuous improve, streamline, and automate core accounting processes.
Standardize technical documentation and deliver targeted user enablement sessions to drive internal adoption.
Ensure data governance, financial system integrity, and adherence to internal control frameworks (e.g., 52-109 compliance).
Mentor and lead a high-performing team of finance systems specialists.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
5 to 8 years of progressive experience delivering and optimizing large-scale financial ERP platforms (specifically Oracle Cloud GL/Fixed Assets or similar core modules).
Proven track record in M&A system integrations and cross-functional project execution.
Strong knowledge of financial compliance standards and internal control frameworks.
CPA designation or formal enterprise software certifications are strong assets.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
