This hybrid contract role of 8 months (3 days onsite in Toronto 📍, 2 days remote) offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare delivery and digital innovation. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop integrated project plans, ensure alignment with provincial priorities, and manage project outcomes end-to-end.

Responsibilities
• Manage complex digital health projects from planning through to implementation
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the provincial digital health strategy
• Develop integrated project plans and manage deliverables, dependencies, and timelines
• Monitor risk, budget, and performance while delivering to scope and quality
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and communication materials for senior audiences
• Support multiple workstreams and facilitate collaboration across delivery partners
• Present updates to steering committees and contribute to policy development
• Ensure all project documentation meets health IT, clinical, and regulatory standards
• Incorporate understanding of Health811, patient portals, secure login systems, and PHI legislation
• Apply best practices in health tech strategy, interoperability, and governance
Qualifications
Must Have:
• 8+ years of project management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong understanding of Ontario’s health system and healthcare service delivery
• Demonstrated knowledge of digital health systems, vendors, and clinical tech delivery
• Experience leading strategic digital health initiatives in the public or private sector
• Familiarity with health IT frameworks (e.g., EHR, Health811, virtual care, patient portals)
• Excellent risk, issue, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong grasp of policy, regulatory, and interoperability requirements
Nice to Have:
🧠 Knowledge of project management methodologies like PMBOK and tools such as MS Project
📍 Experience with government advisory panels or healthcare transformation programs
📘 Exposure to legislation impacting digital health and PHI in Ontario
💬 Exceptional verbal and written communication, documentation, and presentation skills
🤝 Experience in cross-functional and matrix environments
