Duration: 12 months (Possibility of Extension)
Hybrid role: 60% in office / 40% remote (approximately 3 days per week in the office)
In-office days are coordinated with the manager to support onboarding and collaboration
Flexibility is offered where possible
Advantages
- Salary: $30.90 / hour
- Contract Duration: 12 months (Possibility of extension)
- Location: Montreal, QC
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (Stable day schedule)
- Hours-8:30 to 16:30
Responsibilities
•Provide administrative and technical support to project planning tools and their users, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across project plans.
•Support project and program portfolios planning, including prioritization activities and resource allocation processes.
•Assist project managers and stakeholders in maintaining high quality, up to date project schedules and resource plans.
•Work collaboratively with project managers and cross functional teams to support planning activities and resolve data or planning issues.
•Contribute to maintaining the integrity of project plans, helping ensure priorities are clearly reflected and understood across the organization.
•Develop, maintain, and track planning and resource metrics to support decision making.
•Use metrics to help improve planning quality, forecasting accuracy, and overall resource utilization.
•Provide training to users and develop supporting training documentation and reference materials.
•Schedule meetings, take notes and keep track on actions
Qualifications
Experience and Knowledge
•1–2 years of experience in planning, project management, or a related support role, or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area.
•Basic knowledge of gas turbine products, or a strong willingness and interest in gaining this knowledge.
•Familiarity with planning tools such as MS Project or equivalent systems.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to support data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Soft Skills and Language Requirements
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
•Adaptable, organized, and quick to learn in a dynamic project setting.
•Must be fluent in communicate with French/ English speaking clients located outside Quebec on a regular basis
