Payrate:$25-27 an hour ( based on experience)
Length of assignment: 6 months (contract)

Responsibilities
Support the surplus sales by preparing items for auctions (online, onsite, and in-person cash & carry)
Photograph, describe, price, and tag items for sale
Assist customers in person, answer questions, and help load purchases
Receive and inspect surplus inventory using forklifts and material handling equipment
Appraise goods and recommend resale, reuse, recycling, or safe disposal
Handle secure data destruction from electronic equipment
Maintain warehouse space, ensure safety, and perform light equipment servicing
Handle cash, debit, and credit sales transactions with accuracy
Qualifications
âś… 3+ years experience in:
Forklift operation (Reach Truck – must be certified)
Shipping & receiving in a warehouse
Customer service or retail sales
Inventory management systems
Operating material handling equipment
âś… Valid criminal background check (Level 1 from EPS/RCMP)
✅ Able to work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM
Nice to have:
✔️ WHMIS, First Aid, TDG, OHS certificates
✔️ Experience with: Online selling ,Sales merchandising or asset appraisal
Microsoft Office 365
✔️ Lean/Six Sigma training
