Location: Burlington
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes efficiently.
Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and process tenant Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and property tax billings.
Analyze and validate recovery clauses outlined in tenant lease agreements.
Prepare, review, and post the monthly rent roll with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ensure appropriate allocation and chargeback of costs such as utilities to tenants.
Compile and submit annual financial reporting requirements to MPAC, including vacancy rebate applications.
Prepare comprehensive year-end audit working papers to support external audit processes.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Experience in Real Estate Bookkeeping
Minimum 3-5 years of proven bookkeeping experience
Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
