This Dispatcher will be working in the Food-Grade and Chemical Bulk division handling around 10 drivers a day for QC, Ontario, Maritimes and USA lanes.

Avantages
* Title: Dispatcher
* Location: Anjou
* Salary: $66k maximum, payable on a semi-monthly basis. Performance and salary reviews take place annually in April or May.
* Hours: Flexible day shift from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (option to start earlier if preferred), 40 hours per week
* Bonus: Eligible for a performance bonus of up to $2,000.00.
* Benefits: Company benefits starting on your first day of work. This is a cost-shared program between the employee and the employer.
* Vacation: Entitled to three (3) weeks of paid vacation per year. Vacation will be pro-rated for this year. The timing of your vacation will be subject to manager approval based on operational needs.
Responsabilités
- Maintain driver schedules and communicate any deviations to management.
- Receive, verify, and log customer orders and tank levels (dips) into the TMW system.
- Schedule loads based on safety, customer service, and loading efficiency from customer information recorded in the TMW system.
- Communicate dispatch to drivers (including shift plans, site plan information, TMW numbers, as well as truck and trailer information).
- Answer incoming calls, handle general inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate destination.
- Confirm that loads have been delivered by ensuring the TMW system is updated - any delays or changes must be reported to operations management.
- Report/record all safety- and service-related incidents to management.
- During the shift, carry the designated phone and provide coverage for after-hours phone calls.
- Ensure the communication of accurate information to drivers, such as load details, reference numbers, weights, etc.
- Ensure assigned loads are confirmed with each of your drivers before the end of the day.
- Track driver time off, personal absences, and rest periods; report concerns if applicable.
- Confirm accuracy of driver payroll by ensuring routing and accessorial fee information is entered on time into the appropriate TMW fields.
- Assist operations team members as needed. Act as the point of contact for any items/issues that may arise for a driver within your assigned fleet.
Work as a team and assist colleagues on other dispatch boards to ensure the overall success of the division.
Qualifications
- Experience in dispatch or a related field
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfort with IT tools (TMW, Microsoft Office)
- Clear and effective communication, both oral and written
- Ability to manage pressure and make quick decisions
