    Le défi à relever!Reporting to the Area Finance Manager and/or Plant Controller, the Controller will be in continuous training within the various positions of our accounting and/or finance team. More specifically, he/she will develop his/her technical expertise by investigating the various systems and processes of the organization. In addition, he/she will interact with members of the management team in order to develop his/her managerial skills. Finally, he will be assigned various projects according to his development.  You will be responsible for supporting the plant controller, who contributes to the business development of the unit and ensures coordination in accordance with the strategic plan. In addition, you will collaborate by contributing your financial expertise to support the management of your unit in the application of business processes and ensure the implementation of best practices in financial management. Finally, you analyze operational cost performance indicators and contribute to your plant's decisions. Responsabilités du posteServe as a financial specialist and contribute to the unit's business development, while ensuring coordination in keeping with the Group's strategic plan           Implement financial, administrative, and accounting management best practices that apply to the unit   Foster and promote ethical behaviors, the culture and values of Cascades               Help the unit's management team implement and monitor business processes (including the budget process, month-end process, analyses, and communication of internal and external financial information)                          Guarantee the reliability and completeness of the financial information produced     Identify opportunities to reduce unit costs                                Maintain an effective control structure to minimize business risks related to operations and/or fraud         Analyze operational and financial performance indicators to contribute to the unit's decision              Determine and interpret the relationship between financial results and operational performance to identify improvement opportunitiesEnsure Internal Controls effectiveness and processes are effectiveExpérience souhaitéeBachelor’s Degree or higher in finance or related field.Recent college graduate preferredComprehension of accounting processes and practicesGood interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills.Behavioral Competencies required include Rigor, Teamwork, and Continuous improvement, ability to adapt, On the Job learning​​​​​​​High level of personal motivation and drive for organizational success.​​​​​​​Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.The ability to travel and obtain a Passport and be willing to travel Est. 2 times per yearMust be willing to relocate within the US when the permanent position is established#revealyourpotential #LifeAtCascadesCascades believes in the success of an inclusive organization that values diversity within its team.
